Last weekend, from the 14 representatives of the Breeders and Owners Association of Menorca Horses assisted to the 36 has been held. This year, it specially mentioned the native breeds of the Balearic Islands. The fair took place in the Draga’s Park, nearby the 
Banyoles lake in Girona.
The Purebred Menorca Horses were represented by three pairings from the Centro Ecuestre Equimar from Es Castell, Menorca. The Menorca Horses delighted the audience during the shows on the fairground arena. They won children and adults attention with their performances. Furthermore, the Association had a commercial and informative stand in the exhibition place to answer questions to the people attending, promote the breed, etc.
Due to the great interest awakened by the horses, the organizing committee of the fair invited publicly our association to assist on the next occasion in 2015.
According to the event management and due to the good weather during those days, more than 20.000 people visited the fairground. Besides the horses, there were specimens of several animal species (cows, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cocks, goose, etc.) and 
different showings of craft work, stockbreederfarming material, etc.
