The publication of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/963, of 10 June 2021, lay down some modifications in the regulations for the identification and registration of equidae.
Once again, these modifications affect the passport format, which must be different from the end of January 2022. For this reason, the Association of Breeders and Owners of Menorca Breed Horses wants to remember to breeders the importance of requesting the registration of foals born within the month following their birth to ensure that all animals have a valid equine identification document (passport) before that date, and avoid delays in the deadlines of emission due to the changes that have occurred and the need for our entity to adjust its computer systems and materials to such modifications.
