The Classic Dressage is an Olympic equestrian discipline. Its main aim is the development of the horse through a rational, methodical and balanced training. Through the dressage the horse becomes an athlete. It follows the riders’ instructions with harmony, balance and action.
Due to this, the horse becomes calm, flexible, agile and supple. Furthermore, it becomes more confident, more resolute and obedient to the orders of its rider. It reaches the point to be a perfect binomial.
The Classic Dressage is officially regulated in Spain by specific regulations passed by the Royal Equestrian Spanish Federation and it also follows the guidelines of the International Equestrian Federation.
