The Association reserves the right to modify the dates proposed for the evaluation according to the sanitary conditions in the moment of the evaluation.

Mexican industrial engineer David Alonso, with more than 25 years of experience in promoting natural horsemanship, Turkish equestrian influencer Yusuf Yildiz, and the well-known Saudi Arabian equestrian presenter and commentator Abdullah Hamad Altwijri, the main voice of The Saudi Cup, were the central figures of an unprecedented promotional journey that began with their attendance at the Purebred Menorcan Horse Fair.

The close collaboration between the Association of Breeders and Owners of Purebred Menorcan Horses and the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, the Royal Spanish Federation of Select Livestock Associations, and Livestock Genetics from Spain led to a promotional initiative targeting three strategic international markets outside our usual economic environment. This initiative made it possible to promote Menorca—its history, its culture, its traditions-and, of course, its horse.

During their stay on the island, the three guests had a full agenda, combining activities to discover the local gastronomy (at several traditional restaurants of the island) and the island’s natural and cultural heritage (including a horseback route along the Camí de Cavalls and visits to Menorca’s Talayotic heritage sites, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), with others related to the Purebred Menorcan Horse (attending the XXVII Breed Fair, visiting the winning stud farms of the morphological contest, and taking part in photoshoots in iconic settings).

As a result, these influencers have shared captivating content -videos, reels, and stories- about the Purebred Menorcan Horse across their platforms, generating unprecedented visibility in key international markets that had previously been unaware of the breed.

2. Advance payment: to reserve the evaluation, a non-refundable advance payment is required: 370€ for members of our Association or 390€ for not members, in the following bank account: IBAN: ES37 2100 0686 34 0200205992 / SWIFT: CAIXESBBXXX. Please note that this amount is non-refundable in the event that the animal is not evaluated during this call.
3. Deadline for request and advance payment: Juny 27th.
4. Estimated evaluation date: Early October (the exact date will depend on the number of requests received and the availability of the Evaluation Commission).
5. Requested documentation:

• Completed request forms (fill in your stud information at the top, select the option “valoración de reproductor” and indicate the information of your animal/s in the section D).

The final price of the evaluation of your animal can vary by the number of animals to be evaluated and their location in the country.

Please note that the final price of the evaluation may vary depending on the number of animals and their distribution across the country. For logistical and financial efficiency, we aim to group evaluations in as few locations as possible to avoid unnecessary travel.

Please, remember that you only animals that are correctly registered under your stud code are eligible for evaluation.

On the day of the evaluation, please ensure that your animal is presented in an appropriate manner to the Evaluation Commission. The animal’s passport must be handed to the Commission prior to evaluation. It will be returned to you afterwards with the evaluation result and official stamp.

The Association of Breeders and Owners of the Menorca Purebred Horse spreads the Breeding Stock Catalog with the genetic category of the breed of 2023, within the Breeding Program and the Breeding Program Dissemination. The catalog includes all the selection lines of the official Breeding Program for this breed: Classic Dressage, Menorcan Dressage and Functional Conformation and Basic Movements.

All the Breeding Stock Catalogs edited by the Breed, included the Catalog of 2023, are able in the official web page of the Association, at the section “The Horse”, sub-section “Enhancer Breeding Stock”: http://www.caballomenorquin.com/the-horse/breeding-program/

Besides, breeders can use the tool for inbreeding estimation available in the official website of the Studbook: http://men-incecca.tragsatec.es/men-incecca/consanguinidad/calculoConsanguinidad.xhtml, in which they only have to select the stallion (padre) and the mare (madre) to obtain the estimated inbreeding value for this mating.
